Olympus has a cute new camera, the Stylus 720. This 0.8 Inch thick camera is available in chromy pink and glossy metallic blue. It is waterproof down to ten feet, shockproof to five feet, and rubberized in every port so you can do use this camera for underwater job. Olympus Stylus 720 features a 7.1 MP digital camera, 3x optical zoom; and 2.5 inch LCD. The price is $399.99 at Olympus.
Pentax will release a new 7M digital camera ‘Optio S7 this August 2006 in Japan. The camera will be the latest version of Optio S series which will feature face recognition features that recognize the location of a model’s face automatically. Optio S7 supports SDHC/SD memory card and measures 85.5 mm ×19.5 mm × 53.5 mm with the weight of 100 grams. It will be available for 30,000 Yen.

Nikon with a shrewd marketing move has released a mysterious picture and almost no information about its forthcoming Digital SLR release. What we do know is that the camera will have a 10.2 megapixel sensor. Nikon also reveled that camera will provide more power, control and versatility to photographers. Look for the camera to be an upgrade of the popular consumer D70 and D50. More info on these when the info drops in august.
