Olympus has just announced the E-450. It’s a dSLR with a small foot print, with a new processor, 3 art filters, and improved LCD display, face detection, and shadow adjustment technology. Coming out this May, the whole body looks very rugged and sturdy, and it comes with a kit that includes the ED 14-42mm f3.5/5.6 and ED 40-150mm f4.0/5.6 Zuiko zoom lenses.  A very good deal for its suggested $699 price tag. Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG Firmware ver. 1.1

Sigma today released firmware update version 1.1 for their 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM Four Thirds lens for use with Olympus and Pansonic digital SLR cameras. This update corrects a problem to give an accurate compensation value for camera shake when the lens is used with a camera body incorporating an image sensor shift type image stabilization.
