Canon has officially announced that they will release the EOS Kiss X3 first in Japan next month, followed by the US, Europe and Asia. It is actually an Asian version of the Canon EOS 500D. This budget/entry-level HD-video capable camera features a 15.1 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that is ideal for large detailed prints. The camera also offers a high ISO sensitivity up to 3200 which is expandable to 12800. The Canon EOS Kiss X3 is priced at around $800 in Japan. [Akihabara]
