Canon's HV20 High-Def Camcorder

The new Canon HV20 camcorder is capable of recording 1080 high-def video in 16:9 format. The camcorder features a 10x optical zoom with a built-in image stabilizer, and a 3.1MP camera. Users also can hook up the HV20 to their HDTV via its HDMI output. It saves video to MiniDV tapes and saves pictures to miniSD cards. The Canon HV20’s price tag is expected at around $1,099.
