Canon's Major Refund Campaign in Japan

Canon Japan today announced that the company will refund up to 20,000 Yen or around €160 on any purchase of a Canon 50D or Kiss X2 until June 30th, 2009. You will be entitled to a 20,000 Yen refund for a Canon 50D with EF-D18-200-IS lenses and 10,000 Yen for Canon Kiss X2 with a kit lens or not. [Akihabara]

hey where did you see that? I checked the french and english canon websites… nothing. Is it only available in Japan? Can we have the discount if we go there with a tourist visa? PLease tell us more…
