Carl Zeiss has recently rolled out the wide-angle lens Distagon T* 2/28 ZE with EF bayonet, which is perfect for most of analog and EOS camera models. It is actually a manual focus lens that is made up of 10 elements in 8 groups and has a floating focus mechanism to provide high image quality across a variety of focus distances. The Distagon T* 2/28 ZE lens will be available this autumn for $1,429. (excluding VAT). [dpreview]
