Micro Camcorder From Spy Gadget

Designed to actually slip inside an empty pack of gum, the Spy Gadget Micro Camcorder features a “one touch record button,” that captures video at a less-than-stellar 15fps, records footage on a microSD card, and can be recharged via USB. Additionally, you can also capture up to 33-hours of low-res video on a 1GB card, and two hours of that can be captured on a single charge.The device retails for $295.

Hitachi DZ-BD70E - The Firm’s First Blu-ray Camcorder

Hitachi’s first Blu-ray camcorder, the DZ-BD70E, features 8cm Blu-ray disc storage and is capable of recording one hour of full HD(1920×1080) footage to Blu-Ray disc. The discs have 5 times the capacity of regular 8cm MiniDVDs and can be played in any compatible Blu-Ray player. Additionally, the camcorder also sports HDMI interface and utilities a 5.3M CMOS sensor with an effective 2.07M for video and 4.32M for stills.

Samsung Unveiled VP-HMX10A HD Flash Camcorder

Samsung’s new VP-HMX10 HD camcorder is able to record 720p H.264 video with a 10x zoom to an SD (and perhaps SDHC) flash card. The comapny is also launching an integrated memory version dubbed the VP-HMX10A, which features 4GB of storage built in, SD expansion, and a 3 second “Quick Start”. We really hope that Samsung will go for the AVCHD, which is definitely the best CODEC available on the market so far for such compact seize camera.

Sony To Launch NSC-GC1 Pocket Camcorder

Sony Korea will release its latest pocket camcorder in September. Dubbed as the NSC-GC1, the camcorder could be a solution for easy shooting and sharing. It features compact size like a compact digital camera and contains a software that allows users to upload videos directly to a website. Weighing at 150grams, the Sony NSC-GC1 will retail for $270.
