Nikon Coolpix S9 is slated to have a 6.1MP CCD, a 2.5 inch screen, 3x zoom, 15 scene modes, and a 640 x 480 movie mode @ 30fps. It will also be available in a choice of three colors; silver, blue and hot pink.

Panasonic Korea announced the launch of Lumix DMC FX3 at the end of August. Lumix DMC FX3 is a 6MP digital camera which features 2.5 inch LCD screen and stabilizing technology ‘MEGA O.I.S’. The camera measures 94.1 mm x 51.1 mm x 24.2 mm at 125 grams. No word on pricing yet.

Fujifilm’s new FinePix S6000fd is a 6.3MP camera with 10x optical zoom and Face Detection feature. The Face Detection instantly identifies faces everywhere in the scene and brings them into clear focus. Face Detection optimizes exposure for detected faces so your photos of people are brighter with natural face and skin tones. It has 10MB of internal storage and also saves images on xD memory cards. FinePix S6000fd will be launched next month.

Rollei will release the dt6 Tribute which is a consumer-grade 6.36MP digital camera. The new Rollei dt6 Tribute camera features a 6.36 Megapixels 1/2.5 inch CCD image sensor, 2.5 inch TFT color monitor, 4.8x optical zoom lens and 8x digital zoom. The camera will be available this August 2006 and has a consumer price of €279 or around US$360, including VAT. Other spec include Auto focus, ISO 50, 100, 200, 400, USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface, and Lithium Ion battery. The Rollei dt6 Tribute measures 97 mm x 55 mm x 24.89 mm and weights 140 grams.
