Here is a video of the Casio Exilim PRO EX-F1 press conference. Casio has released the camera in Korea. The Casio Exilim PRO EX-F1 features a high speed CMOS sensor and a high speed LSI processor, an ultra-high speed 60fps burst rate for still images. The digicam is also able to capture 1,200 fps high speed movie recording and record movies at full HD quality. The Casio EXLIM EX-Z9 was shown at CES and has now arrived. This 8.1-megapixel camera comes with a 2.6-inch LCD monitor, face detection technology, anti-shake DSP, a 3x optical zoom, 18.6MB storage, an SD / SDHC / MMC expansion slot, a video mode capable of capturing at 848 x 480 pixels and a rechargeable Li-ion along with a USB / AV output socket and 23 “Best Shot” modes. TechOn has announced that the EX-F1 has no shutter. Casio is scheduled to release the EX-F1 in March. It’ll come with a a continuous shooting speed of 60 fps (frames per second) (each frame is 6 Mpixels) and to shoot full HD (1080/60i) H.264 movies.

Casio will release a new digital camera called the Exilim Card EX-S10 in Japan. It comes equipped with a 10.1M CCD sensor and a 3X optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch 230,000 pixel LCD monitor and 11.8MB built-in memory, and supports ISO 1600, face detection function, and up to 230 photos from one charging. You’ll be able to get them in silver, black, red, blue and white and will be available on 15th February for $373.

Casio has topped the megapixel wars with cameras with the new Exilim Pro EX-F1. The solution: ultra fast photo and video capture. Meaning 60fps for photos and 1200fps for videos. There is a photographic mode where the camera starts to capture in 60fps burst mode as soon as you touch the shutter button. Then you can go back a second time to find a better shot after first reviewing all photos. Sounds like an interesting and helpful feature to have in any camera!
