The JVC 3-CCD GZ-HD3 high-def camcorder is 27% slimmer that the previous GZ-HD7. The latest HD Everio features 5-hours of 1,440 x 1,080 / 30Mbps recordings direct to internal 60GB hard disk, which is at a lower resolution in comparison to the GZ-HD7. In the 1440CBR mode, you can record for up to 5-hours plus edit with your HDV-compatible software. The camcorder also features a Konica Minolta HD lens, digital image stabilization, JVC’s HD Gigabrid image processing, 2.8-inch LCD screen, HDMI-out, built-in light, PC-less archiving over USB to Everio Share Stations, and support for SDHC (Class 6) recordings in SP mode (1,440 x 1,080 at 22Mbps) and bundled CyberLink BD software. The JVC GZ-HD3 camcorder will be released in September for $1,300.

Victor JVC has unveiled its new Everio GZ-HD3 camcorder which is the little brother of the GZ-HD7. Unfortunately, the Everio GZ-HD3 is not a Full HD camcorder but a HDV that can capture videos with 1440×1080 resolution. Measuring 82mm × 75mm x 15mm and weighing 660grams, the camcorder adopts a Konica Minolta lens with 200x optical zoom and comes with a 60GB hard drive. The JVC GR-D650 Digital Video Camera has a nice 2.5 inch LCD display. It allows you to take 1,280 x 960 pixel pictures to store on an SD cards. Perhaps the best feature of the JVC GR-D650 is its F1.2 camera lens, said to be the brightest lens available. It also features 16:9 widescreen mode and a USB port, as well as other input/output.
