This high-performance camcorder boasts three 1.3-inch CCDs capable of shooting in 1080p, 1080i, 720p or 480i formats, a 4.3-inch LCD preview display, a 1.2-megapixel LCOS viewfinder, dual SDHC Class 6/10 memory card slots, two XLR audio inputs and has the ability to record in native Apple Final Cut .mov format. JVC is back to the camcorder market by releasing the JVC GZ-HM1 HD Everio series. This camcorder is able to record full HD videos (1080p) and is equipped with a 10.62 megapixel CMOS sensor to capture still images. JVC will release this video recorder in March 2010 for a hefty $1,199.95. Additionally, JVC has also introduced the GZ-HM550 HD camcorder, which boasts a 16x zoom, Bluetooth, and a 32GB of internal flash memory that is expandable via SD / SDHC cards. JVC is gearing up to launch a new hard drive camcorder called the Everio GZ-HD620. Measuring 53mm x 63mm x 115mm and weighing just 270 grams, this compact and lightweight camcorder features a 3.32-megapixel 1/4.1″ CMOS image sensor, 30x optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD monitor, a 120GB hard drive, a microSD card slot, a mini USB 2.0 interface, an HDMI port and supports for MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video format as well Dolby Digital 2ch audio format. Here’s the latest pocket-sized camera from JVC, the PICSIO GC-FM1. Measuring only 53mm x 97mm x 17mm and weighing just 95 grams, this compact camera sports an 8-megapixel sensor for taking digital still images, a 2-inch LCD display, an SD/SDHC memory card slot, an HDMI output and has the capability to record 1080p HD video at 2.03-megapixel in MPEG-4 or AVC/H.254 format. JVC will release the Everio GZ-HM400 Full HD camcorder in August 2009 for around $1150. The video recorder features a 10.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 2.8-inch LCD display, a 32GB internal memory, a SDHC memory card slot, Konica Minolta HD Lens with a 10x Optical zoom, an HDMI output, and iTunes and YouTube support.
