D700 is considered to be Nikon’s first ‘compact’ professional SLR. It comes with most of the functionalities of a D3; like the 12.1 MP full frame sensor, and the identical processing engine, all wrapped within smaller body. But it also adds few additional features such as self-cleaning sensor and internal flash. The introduction of D700 is meant to compete with Canon’s upcoming EOS 5D sequel. Fantasea has recently released the FS-51 underwater housing which is compatible with the new Nikon Coolpix S52 and S52c digital cameras. This water proof case is depth rated up to 60 meters/200 feet under water and has a double O-ring seal on all controls, anti-glare hood over LCD screen, built-in flash diffuser and a 41mm lens port.
