Panasonic has showed off their latest compact system camera namely the Lumix GF7. This lightweight and stylish interchangeable lens camera boasts a 16MP Micro Four Thirds Digital Live MOS Sensor, a versatile angle of view equivalent to that of a 24-64mm lens on a 35mm camera, a 3.0-inch 1040k-dot touchscreen 180-degree tiltable LCD monitor, Panasonic’s Venus Engine image processor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot and built-in WiFi connectivity with One-Button connect. The camera also comes with a wide variety of creative and automatic modes including Self Shot, Jump Snap, Creative Control, Time Lapse and Stop Motion Animation. This travel-friendly camera boasts a 12.1MP 1/2.3-type High Sensitivity MOS sensor, a 24mm wide-angle LEICA lens, a 30x optical zoom lens, a 0.2-inch 1,166k-dot Live View Finder (LVF) with an eye-sensor and a 3.0-inch 1,040k-dot TFT LCD display. The Lumix DMC-TZ70 also adopts the HYBRID O.I.S+ (Hybrid Optical Image Stabilizer Plus) 5-Axis system for avoiding the problem of unwanted vibration in high zoom video shots and a 240fps Auto Focus (AF) sensor drive, resulting in Light Speed AF that lets you catch even the most split-second opportunities. Panasonic has decided to launch their latest Android-powered camera ‘DMC-CM1’ in the UK. Originally to be out only in France and Germany, the DMC-CM1 will be available in the UK from 1st December for 899 GBP (about $1,410). Marketed as a camera with smartphone technology, the DMC-CM1 sports a 20.1MP 1-inch High Sensitivity MOS sensor, a Venus Engine image processor, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974AB processor, a 4.7-inch Full HD touchscreen display (6,220k dots), a 2GB RAM and a 16GB ROM. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the DMC-CM1 has the ability to capture 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) video at 15fps. In terms of connectivity, it provides LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.
