Panasonic Releases DMC-FX66 Digital Camera

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX66

Panasonic has proudly introduced a new member from its Lumix digital camera series. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX66 is a point-and-shoot camera that adopts a 14-megapixel 1/2.33-inch Type CCD sensor with the Intelligent Resolution technology and the Power O.I.S. image stabilization. The compact camera boasts an ultra wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 25mm-125mm lens with a 5x optical zoom, the new Venus Engine VI processor with Intelligent Resolution, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, an ISO sensitivity from 80 to 6400, SDXC cards compatibility, a 40MB of internal memory, and different scene mode. Measuring 97mm x 54mm x 22 mm and weighing 145grams (with battery), the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX66 will be launched on February 19th, 2010 for 35,000 Yen ($392). [dpreview]

Panasonic has once again expanded its Lumix series of digital cameras by bringing you the DMC-ZX3. This slim and compact camera boasts a 14.1-megapixel CCD sensor, a 25mm ultra wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens, 8x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD display. Not to mention, it also comes with a number of advanced features including Power O.I.S lens stabilization, Face detection, Intelligent Exposure, AVCHD Lite video recording and Panasonic’s new ‘Happy Mode’ that optimizes the color, saturation and brightness of both photos and videos. Panasonic Announces A New Point-And-Shoot Camera

Panasonic has announced a new point-and-shoot camera known as the Lumix DMC-FP3. Coming in three different color options: silver, black and navy blue, this ultra slim camera sports a 14.1-megapixel CCD image sensor, 4x optical zoom, a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display, image stabilization, face detection and HD video recording. Panasonic Announces Firmware Update For DMC-GF1

Panasonic today announced a new firmware update version 1.1 for its DMC-GF1 digital camera. The update provides several improvements including autofocus in movie mode, Manual Focus Assist function and an enhanced auto white balance performance. Sealux's Underwater Housing For Panasonic Camcorders

Sealux today unveiled an underwater housing for Panasonic camcorders. Dubbed as the Sealux HSD300, the case is usable at depths of up to 90 meters under water. With the application of the case, the Panasonic camcorders can still record videos in HDV and DV quality in the 16:9 or 4:3 formats and HD photos of up to 10.6 megapixels. Panasonic camcorders compatible with the Sealux HSD300 casing include the HDC-SD300 and HDC-HS300. The Panasonic Sealux underwater housings will be released in July 2010.
