Pentax has a brand new entry-level DSLR. Known as the Pentax K2000, the camera offers basic DSLR features including 10.2MP sensor, 2.7 inch LCD display, supports up to 3200 ISO, continuous shooting rate at 3.5fps, dust removal and alert system, 10 scenes modes, and SD/SDHC memory card slot. What makes the Pentax K2000 cool is that it is also backward compatibility with Pentax lenses that were released since 1975. Pentax has just unveiled its latest 10 Megapixel pocket camera. Optio E60 offers ease of use on a budget. It comes with Auto Picture mode that automatically re-adjusts according to corresponding scenes. Face recognition Auto Function can recognize up to 10 faces. It can even alert the shooter if anyone blinks, how cool is that? E60 can shot up to 200 shots on Alkaline, or more than 600 on Lithium AAs. Pentax Optio E60 hits store in October for under $140. Pentax is ready to release its Optio W60 compact digital camera in Japan. This waterproof digicam can survive underwater within 4 meters for 2 hours. Available in ocean blue and silver, the 10MP camera comes with 5x optical zoom lens, a 2.5-inch LCD, supports up to ISO 1600 and HD video recording. Pentax has recently unveiled its new waterproof digital camera, the Optio W60, that comes with a 10MP sensor, 5x optical zoom, and a 28mm wide-angle lens. The W60 has a sensitivity for up to ISO 6400, and can record HD video (720p resolution). Available in Money and Blue Ocean, this underwater camera can withstand under water pressure up to 4 meters.
