Samsung Releases Firmware Ver. 1.1 For NX Lenses

Here’s the latest firmware update ‘version 1.1’ for Samsung’s NX lenses. The update “improves autofocus accuracy of the 18-55mm kit lens, 50-200mm telezoom and 30mm F2 pancake lens.” You’ll be able to download it starting today via Samsung’s official website. [dpreview]

Another Point-And-Shoot Camera From Samsung

Here’s the latest addition to Samsung’s SL-series of point-and-shoot cameras, the SL630. This entry-level camera sports a 12.2-megapixel image sensor, a 28mm wide-angle lens, 5x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD with 230k pixels. Other advanced features include Dual Image Stabilization, Samsung’s advanced scene recognition technology (Smart Auto), Samsung’s Perfect Portrait System and the ability to record 640 x 480 video at 30fps. Samsung has added two new models to its HZ-Series of high zoom digital cameras. Known as the 12-megapixel HZ35W and HZ30W, both cameras provide a wide-angle 24mm Schneider lens and an impressive 15x optical zoom. Additionally, the Samsung HZ35W comes equipped with a super clear and sharp 3.0-inch AMOLED display and a built-in GPS technology to pinpoint and store the exact location where the picture was taken. Samsung Announces Two New Ultra Compact Cameras

Samsung has added two new ultra compact cameras to its range by announcing the TL105 (pictured above) and TL110. The TL105 features a 12.2-megapixel image sensor, a 27.5mm wide-angle lens, 4x optical zoom and Digital Image Stabilization. Meanwhile, the TL110 offers a 14.2-megapixel image sensor, 27mm wide-angle lens, 5x optical zoom and Dual Image Stabilization. Apart from that, both cameras are equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD display, Samsung’s advanced scene recognition technology, Smart Auto (Still & Movie) and the ability to record HD video (720p) at 30fps using H.264 compression. Samsung has added two new digital cameras to its SL series with the introduction of the 12.2-megapixel SL600 (pictured above) and 10.2-megapixel SL50. These stylish cameras sports a high-quality 27mm wide-angle Samsung lens with 5x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch 230K LCD (SL600), a 2.5-inch 230K LCD (SL50), digital image stabilization, Smart Auto mode, Samsung’s Perfect Portrait System and the ability to record 640 x 480 video at 30fps. Samsung NX10 Gets Official

Remember the Samsung NX10 that we mentioned back in December? This mirrorless interchangeable lens camera is finally official and will start shipping in Spring 2010. In case you’ve forgotten, the NX10 is packed with a 14.6-megapixel APS-C-sized CMOS sensor, a DSLR-style body, an eye-level VGA resolution electronic viewfinder, a large 3.0-inch AMOLED screen, an HDMI port and has the ability to record 720p HD video (H.264 codec).
