Samsung has just announced the release of the new 10-megapixel camera, the L210. The L210 offers an OIS or Optical Image Stabilizer, a DIS Digital Image Stabilizer, a 3x optical Zoom and Face detection system, a Self portrait mode and an Auto Red Eye Fix mode. No word on pricing or availability.

There has been a leaked pic of the new Samsung GX-20 DSLR online. It features sensor-based image stabilization, a 2.7-inch LCD, one-press RAW formatting, and ISO up to 3200. The camera has some ruggedized features as well with resistance to rain, sand, and dust, as well as double dust removal on the image sensor. No word on pricing or release info.

Samsung went to CES as well but not for the same bragging reasons most companies went for. You can’t help but love this ultra-thin i8 design, however. It features a 8-megapixel sensor and a glossy finish, and comes equipped with a 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD monitor. It support MP3 playback with the slideshow feature that plays audio while images pass by, and can watch MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV and ASF files on the LCD, as well as shoot MPEG-4 video at 800 x 592 resolution. You’ll have to wait until February to but this $299 for this beauty.

Samsung is coming out with camcorders left and right this year. This one in particular is the SC-HMX20C. It Captures video in progressive Full HD 1080p, 8GB of internal flash memory; SDHC / MMC+ expansion slot1, 1/8-inch 6.4-megapixel CMOS sensor, 10x optical zoom, 300fps slow-motion recording mode for up to 10 seconds, 4-megapixel still image capture, 2.7-inch wide LCD touchscreen display, iCheck button for easy access to memory / battery levels, USB 2.0 and PictBridge connections, and Component, S-Video and composite outputs. Unfortunately you’ll have to wait until August to get this one. $300

The NVD24 has is unique from other Samsung cameras because unlike others, it has the ability to record in HD, 720p (1280×720) resolution, at 30 frames per second as well as being docked in a Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) cradle that an HDMI connector that connects to an HDTV.
