Sanyo Xacti CA65

Normally if you want to take underwater shots you either have to (a) buy an expensive underwater casing for your camera or (b) dip your camera in the water, snap the picture and pull it out as fast as you can hoping that the water hasn’t got into it. Not with this one. Sanyo’s VPC-CA65 can be underwater at depths of up to 1.5 meters for up to an hour. This beauty records at high quality H.264 (with image stabilization) and takes stills at 6 megapixel. At under $500 it comes in a cool ultracompact form factor and uses SD/SDHC for storage.
