Six Sanyo Releases Six Xacti Dual Cameras in Korea

Six new Sanyo Xacti digital cameras will be released in South Korea. The cameras are the world’s first 1080p 60fps full HD camcorders (VPC-HD2000, VPC-FH1), two waterproof HD models (VPC-CA9, VPC-WH1), and two compact HD models (VPC-CG10, VPC-TH1). We will keep you posted. [AVING]

Sanyo Xacti DMX-F11 and HD2000 camcorders

Sanyo has announced its new Xacti camcorders in the form of the Xacti DMX-F11 and HD2000 camcorders. Both video cameras have a 8.1 megapixel sensor. The HD2000 has a 10x zoom with opening F1.8-2.5 and a 2.7-inch LCD screen, meanwhile the FH11 has a 10x optical zoom lens F2.0-2.9 and a larger 3-inch LCD screen. These camcorders also offer up to 16x Zoom Advance, up to ISO 3200, digital image stabilizer for photos and video and HDMI output. Both Full HD Xacti camcorders support SD / SDHC up to 32GB cards. Sanyo has unveiled two new world’s first waterproof HD cameras ‘DMX-WH1’ and ‘DMX-CA9’, both are ready for full water submersion. The DMX-WH1 is packed with a powerful lens with 30x optical zoom, 43MB of onboard memory, SD card slot and HDMI out. Whereas the DMX-CA9 features a 9 Megapixel sensor, 5X optical zoom and a brand new image processing engine. Other common features include both cameras record in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, has a 2.5 inch display, USB ports, mono speaker and stereo microphone. Available by mid-March in Japan with the DMX-WH1 selling for 60,000 Yen ($ 650) and the DMX-CA9 selling for 55,000 Yen ($ 600). [Newlaunches]

Sanyo DMX-HD800 Xacti Preview

DMX-HD800, a new sleek, slim high definition dual camera Xacti can take both 8.0-Megapixel stills and videos(1280 x 720, 720p). It comes with a new three-dimensional digital noise reduction (3DDNR) filter, and adds facial recognition for both stills and videos with scanner visible on LCD. It is compatible with personal computers and/or upload video data to the Internet. Available in Gold, Pink, and Black. It will start rolling in late August.
