Sony Ericsson has announced the Cybershot K850 camera phone that features an excellent 5MP camera with autofocus that includes a xenon flash, shutter button, and the ability to record QVGA video at 30fps. The handset also provides the Photo Fix system that allows you to fix your pictures on-the-go. In addition, the K850 also supports quad-band GSM/EDGE/HSDPA, and offers MP3 playback, 40MB of memory, and the option to upgrade the memory through the help of M2 or microSD cards.

CameraLabs has reviewed the Sony Cyber-shot H9. The camera offers 8.1MP resolution, a powerful Carl Zeiss 15x optical zoom lens, Advanced Sports Mode with high shutter speed (1/4000 seconds), NightShot system, and a large 3.0-inch Clear Photo LCD. Here is the conclusion.
There’s no doubt the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H9 is a very impressive camera, but like the other super-zooms we’ve compared it against, you’ll need to carefully weigh-up the pros and cons. If you’re after a super-zoom with the biggest, most flexible screen and fastest focusing, then the Sony’s for you. Flipping the screen out to shoot at unusual angles, grabbing fast action, then enjoying it on the big screen afterwards is certainly very seductive. It’s also nice that Sony’s included an infra red remote control and lens hood - albeit a hefty one - as standard accessories.
