Vivitar has added another camcorder to their line that will be able to shoot HD. The DVR565HD will capture in H.264 / MPEG-4 at 30fps, video back out in 1080i via the HDMI output and will be available in black and silver and lastly, has a 3-inch flip-out LCD monitor as well as a 4GB SD card. Vivitar will release its ViviCam 6200w in the IFA 2007. It is a 6.0MP water resistant camera that has a 2.0“ color TFT-LCD screen with an integrated zoom up to 4X. The camera uses a focus free lens of 6.95mm, F3.3 with a focus range of 60cm~100cm(Macro), 100cm~infinty (Normal) on land and 45cm~75cm(Macro), 75~infinty(Normal) underwater. This water proof camera can resist water up to 30 ft and supports a resolution up to 2816 x 2112 pixels. In addition, the camera also provides a 16MB flash memory for storage and supports SD cards up to 2 GB.
