Fujifilm has decided to release the Fujifilm XP50 in the Japanese market. This rugged digicam comes jam packed with a 14-megapixel sensor with 1080p HD video recording capabilities and a 5x optical zoom lens. The Fujifilm XP50 is waterproof to a depth of 5 meters and shockproof from a height of 1.5 meter. What’s more, the camera is able to operate in low temperature (up to -10 degrees Celsius). Folks in Japan are able to buy the Fujifilm XP50 for 20,000 Yen ($250). [Akihabara]
