HP will be dropping the new Elite Auto Focus Webcam which is compatible with most PC-based video chat programs such as (Yahoo, Skype, MS Messenger, AIM), and comes with USB 2.0, a 3 megapixel CMOS camera capable of shooting video ranging from 640 x 480 pixels at 30fps with a quality of 1,600 x 1,200 at 5fps, a built-in stereo microphone, face tracking and Magic-i video effects software, 3 programmable buttons, and a sliding “privacy cover”. No word on the pricing, but I’d imagine it wont be cheap with all the fancy features it has. [DigitalHome]

well its good to know that coz it was only pro 9000 in list now hp but i want to see how does it auto focus work coz with pro 9000 auto focus is slow so i hope hp must done some thing good abt it
well i say pro 9000 is good in all area i felt negative only in 2 are that is auto focus and right light coz when right light is on fram rates drop and when u play hd frame rates drop too i hope hp does have good auto focus and abt HD clips its same like pro 9000 still have to work on tht area but hey!!! no one broadcast high hd webcam NO msn no yahoo or aim only skypee does but max is 640*480 with 30frames sec so i say its good just need to see about auto focus
