Canon has unveiled a new pair of point-and-shoots namely SD780 IS and SD960 IS. Let’s start with the first one, the SD780 is a new slim, midrange point-and-shoot with 12.1 megapixels, a 3x optical zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD, and Digic IV image processor. It’s also got a 720p movie shooting mode and HDMI out. This is joined by the SD960 IS, most of the specs are similar to SD780, except it has a 2.8-inch screen, a 4x optical zoom with different styling and button layout.
