Sony has once again expanded its line of superzoom digital cameras by launching the Cyber-shot DSC-HX80. Blending an advanced, low-light optimized image sensor with long-reaching zoom, this travel-friendly camera is equipped with an 18.2MP BSI Exmor R CMOS sensor, a Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 30x optical zoom lens (24-720mm), a 638k-dot pop-up OLED Tru-Finder EVF, a 3.0″ 921k-dot tilting LCD monitor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, a micro-HDMI output port and built-in WiFi & NFC connectivity.
Other notable highlights include Optical SteadyShot Image Stabilization, Expanded ISO 12800 and 10fps Shooting.
