Mustek has announced their first digital camera called the DV300T. It looks like a cell phone, however it is just a camera. It features a 3.1 megapixel resolution,a PMP, a voice recorder, and an e-book reader. No word on pricing or availability, but it shouldn’t be that much considering this camera isn’t at all that impressive.

The Sigma DP1 has just received a release date. This Spring look forward to a 14 megapixel FOVEON X3 sensor, a fixed, 16.6-mm F4 lens, the new “TRUE” image processing engine, a 2.5-inch LCD, pop-up manual flash, hot shoe, manual or 9-point autofocus modes, and QVGA movie recording capabilities. No word on exact pricing yet however.
Here’s another opportunity to get a digital photo frame by Mustek. The PF-A950PS features XT flat-panel speaker technology, 16:9 aspect ratio, 800 x 480 resolution, Compatible with SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, xD and CF memory cards, Supports MP3, JPEG, AVI, MPEG and XviD formats, and has both a 128MB internal memory and USB 2.0 port. The Mustek PF-A950PS will ship in May for $249.99.

Casio will release a new digital camera called the Exilim Card EX-S10 in Japan. It comes equipped with a 10.1M CCD sensor and a 3X optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch 230,000 pixel LCD monitor and 11.8MB built-in memory, and supports ISO 1600, face detection function, and up to 230 photos from one charging. You’ll be able to get them in silver, black, red, blue and white and will be available on 15th February for $373.

Nikon will release a new CoolPix model aka the S600. Each camera features support for the VR mode (blurring correction), a face recognition AF system, a 4x Optical Zoom, 45MB of internal memory and available in 3 colors : Black, Gold and Silver. Price and exact release dates are still unknown.
