CNet has just reviewed Canon’s PowerShot SD800 IS, it features a 7.1-megapixel CCD, 2.5-inch LCD display, 3.8X optical wide-angle zoom lens, an SD/SDHC card slot, and 8 shooting modes. Via CNet.

The Canon PowerShot SD800 IS is a great point-and-shoot camera. It’s small, it sports a stabilized, wide-angle lens, and it can pump out beautiful shots at a pretty rapid pace

Earlier on TechFresh a video of the NV10 by Samsung was posted, well here’s a review of the camera. For those that don’t follow this camera it features 10.1 megapixel lens, 2.5 inch LCD touch screen, 3x zoom and much more. Via Photography Blog.

Sadly, although the NV10 offers a truly unique user experience, the images that it produces do not match the high quality of the rest of the camera. High levels of noise at ISO 200 and faster is the main problem, but the NV10 also suffers from obvious purple fringing and a very limited anti-shake mode. It’s a real shame, as the NV10 is otherwise a joy to use

Samsung’s 7.2 megapixel NV3 digital camera does it all, from supporting most audio/video fromats to 15MB of internal memory. Other features include a a 2.5-inch LCD display, SD card slot, and a 3x optical lens. Via Trusted Reviews.

It is beautifully designed, extremely well made, handles comfortably and performs well photographically, although the “bonus extras” of MP3 and MPEG4 playback, and especially the text viewer, are really nothing special

Canon HV10 features a 2.96 megapixel CMOS sensor, 2.7 inch widescreen LCD screen, HD video lens, and a miniSD card slot. It will be availble this September for $1300.

Casio’s sleek Exilim Zoom EX-Z700 features a powerful 7.2-megapixel CCD, a 3x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. The Exilim EX-Z700 measures at 88.5 x 57 x 20.5 and is available this August.

With a 3x zoom, Casio’s Anti-Shake DSP and new BEST SHOT modes including an auto framing mode and a layout shot mode
