
Nikon today introduced the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens that provides photographers the versatility of the classic 50mm focal length and the benefits of a fast aperture for photos and D-movies. This new prime lens is compatible with the Nikon FX-format digital-SLR cameras and provides a 75mm (equivalent) focal length when used with the Nikon DX-format DSLRs. The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens will be launched in the middle of June 2011 for $219.95. [dcviews]
