Olympus Stylus 1040

The ultra-slick Stylus 1040 so thin it is barely over a half an inch thick and weighs in less than 4 ounces, concealing abundant features like intelligent scene and smile recognition, in-camera editing and panorama picture creation, and face detection for up to 16 people in a shot. In addition to its internal memory, photos can be stored on xD-Picture or – thanks to an xD adapter – on microSD cards. Anywhere you take it, the Stylus 1040 not only looks good — it captures amazing results. The camera is due to arrive this October, for $199. [Olympus]
