The camera has a multi-purpose click-stop dial around the lens housing and a rear control wheel encircling the four-way pad. The Olympus XZ-1 also has a 10-megapixel 1/1.63-inch CCD sensor, a fast f/1.8-2.5, 4x wide-angle i.ZUIKO DIGITAL lens, a 3-inch OLED screen and 720p HD movie recording capabilities.
