Panasonic has showed off their latest compact system camera namely the Lumix GF7. This lightweight and stylish interchangeable lens camera boasts a 16MP Micro Four Thirds Digital Live MOS Sensor, a versatile angle of view equivalent to that of a 24-64mm lens on a 35mm camera, a 3.0-inch 1040k-dot touchscreen 180-degree tiltable LCD monitor, Panasonic’s Venus Engine image processor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot and built-in WiFi connectivity with One-Button connect. The camera also comes with a wide variety of creative and automatic modes including Self Shot, Jump Snap, Creative Control, Time Lapse and Stop Motion Animation. Nikon has recently listed a new point-and-shoot camera on its product page, the Coolpix S3700. This super-stylish camera comes with a 20.1MP 1/2.3-inch CCD image sensor, a 25mm wide-angle lens, an 8x NIKKOR optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch 230k-dot TFT LCD monitor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, built-in WiFi and NFC support (share photos and movies to an NFC-enabled smart device with a simple tap of the camera or transfer images via a dedicated WiFi button). Sony has also introduced their latest 4K handycam, the FDR-AXP33. Polaroid has recently unveiled their latest ultra-portable optical zoom WiFi camera, the iZone.
