Panasonic has showed off their latest compact system camera namely the Lumix GF7. This lightweight and stylish interchangeable lens camera boasts a 16MP Micro Four Thirds Digital Live MOS Sensor, a versatile angle of view equivalent to that of a 24-64mm lens on a 35mm camera, a 3.0-inch 1040k-dot touchscreen 180-degree tiltable LCD monitor, Panasonic’s Venus Engine image processor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot and built-in WiFi connectivity with One-Button connect. The camera also comes with a wide variety of creative and automatic modes including Self Shot, Jump Snap, Creative Control, Time Lapse and Stop Motion Animation. Nikon has recently listed a new point-and-shoot camera on its product page, the Coolpix S3700. This super-stylish camera comes with a 20.1MP 1/2.3-inch CCD image sensor, a 25mm wide-angle lens, an 8x NIKKOR optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch 230k-dot TFT LCD monitor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, built-in WiFi and NFC support (share photos and movies to an NFC-enabled smart device with a simple tap of the camera or transfer images via a dedicated WiFi button). Fujifilm has also unveiled their latest superzoom digital camera, the FinePix S9900W. This travel-friendly camera has a 16.2MP 1/2.3-inch BSI-CMOS image sensor, a 24mm wide-angle lens, a 50x optical zoom lens, a 0.2-inch 920k-dot Electronic Viewfinder, a 3.0-inch 460k-dot LCD monitor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, an HDMI output port and built-in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. Sony has also introduced their latest 4K handycam, the FDR-AXP33. Featuring a built-in projector with powerful 50 lumen brightness, this travel-friendly camcorder is equipped with a 1/2.3-type back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor, a 10x optical zoom lens, a 3.0-inch 921k-dot Xtra Fine touchscreen LCD display, Sony’s BIONZ X image processor, a multi-format card reader, NFC and WiFi connectivity. Polaroid has recently unveiled their latest ultra-portable optical zoom WiFi camera, the iZone. Designed to be the ultimate companion to your iOS or Android device (once paired using the built-in WiFi, you can use your smartphone as a viewfinder and save the images taken with the Polaroid iZone camera directly to your smartphone), this tiny camera is equipped with an 18-megapixel image sensor, a built-in flash, an 8x optical zoom lens, a 32MB of internal memory and a built-in tripod mount.
