Casio rolled out its 10.1MP digicam, Exilim Zoom EX-Z1050, which has a 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, a 28mm lens, and up to ISO3200. Measuring 91.1mm x 24.2mm x 57.2mm and weighing 125grams, the compact camera also supports SDHC, 15MB of internal memory, and a 2.6 Inch control screen with a 1000cd/m2 brightness.

That’s right, Canon will launch its new 22MP digicam EOS-1Ds Mark III. The camera is set to be released in October at the PhotoPlus Expo 2007. No further information is currently available. Stay tuned for more updates!

Panasonic released its two new 7.2MP digicam, the DMC-LZ6 and DMC-LZ7. The LZ6 has a 2-inch screen, while the LZ7 has larger a 2.5-inch screen. They both have 6x zoom and optical image stabilization. They both also feature Panasonic’s Venus Engine III, which allows these cameras to handle dark and low light shots. Both cameras will be available next month. The DMC-LZ6 and DMC-LZ7 will cost $179 and $199 respectively.
