Panasonic’s new HDC-SD10 and the HDC-TM10 are touted as the world’s lightest Full High Definition camcorders. Weighing at only 227grams, these video recorders are able to capture 1920 x 1080 HD picture and supports a 16x optical zoom, an intelligent contrast control, Advanced Optical Image Stabiliser, and Face Detection Technology. There is also an intelligent scene selector, which claims to determine the shooting conditions and automatically selects the scene setting that will provide optimal results.
