Panasonic has also unveiled their latest superzoom digital camera, the Lumix DMC-TZ70. This travel-friendly camera boasts a 12.1MP 1/2.3-type High Sensitivity MOS sensor, a 24mm wide-angle LEICA lens, a 30x optical zoom lens, a 0.2-inch 1,166k-dot Live View Finder (LVF) with an eye-sensor and a 3.0-inch 1,040k-dot TFT LCD display. The Lumix DMC-TZ70 also adopts the HYBRID O.I.S+ (Hybrid Optical Image Stabilizer Plus) 5-Axis system for avoiding the problem of unwanted vibration in high zoom video shots and a 240fps Auto Focus (AF) sensor drive, resulting in Light Speed AF that lets you catch even the most split-second opportunities. Other prominent features include NFC and WiFi connectivity, and 1920 x 1080 50p Full HD video recording in AVCHD Progressive format. The Lumix DMC-TZ70 will be available from March for around $399.
