Pentax Japan has announced that they will officially release the Pentax 645D camera at the upcoming Japanese CP+ industry trade show in March 2010. It is actually the company’s first true medium-format digital camera that would be compatible with the lenses developed for the film-based version. Word has it that this high-end camera will feature a 30-megapixel sensor, making it Pentax’s sharpest camera ever.

Well it looks really ugly. But seems really cool. In fact this is the first camera I’ve known with 30 MP camera.
