Designed for capturing POV footage of adventures of all kinds, this splash-proof camera (IPX4) packs a 16.8MP 1/2.3-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor, a 170-degree wide-angle lens, Sony’s BIONZ X Image Processor, a microSD card slot and built-in WiFi connectivity for live-viewing and remote operation using a smartphone or other mobile device. The HDR-AZ1 can record 1080p60 Full HD video in XAVC S codec and 120fps slow motion video in 720p. In addition to video, it also takes 11.9MP still photos with the option for single shot, burst shooting at up to 8fps and interval recording for creating time-lapse effects.
