Fresh news from CES, Sony is adding its new DVD handycams line today with two models DCR-DVD850 And DCR-DVD650 for any amateurs who don’t have any professional skills. The camcorders use a flash based system and offer a great-looking movies and photos with a powerful Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar lenses, 60X optical zoom, and 1/8-inch 680K-pixel CCD imagers. You can record anything with hybrid recording on three-inch DVD discs and Memory Stick PRO Duo™ media cards, while the DCR-DVD850 camcorder offers Hybrid Plus recording with an additional 16GB of embedded memory. The DCR-DVD850 will be available for $430 and DCR-DVD650 for $300 in the next February. [Engadget]
