CompoBank 3D Digital Camera

CompoBank of Korea will release a 3D digital camera and a 7-inch 3D digital photo frame that can display pictures taken by the camera in Japan in Autumn 2009. The 3D digital camera utilizes a “side-by-side” format, where image data for both left- and right-eye images are placed side-by-side to form a data format of a 3D image. The output can be switched to “anaglyph format,” which requires red/cyan glasses to view 3D images, and can be used for 3D printing that uses lenticular lens sheets.

Meanwhile, the 3D digital photo frame uses the two-view parallax barrier method, which enables to see 3D images with the naked eye. The frame features a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a function to convert pictures and moving images from 2D to 3D. More
