Medion has launched its new Medion S47000 rugged pocket camcorder, which is actually a competitor to the Flip Ultra HD and the Creative Vado HD. This portable camcorder can record 720p quality MOV files on the 90MB of internal memory that is upgradable via an SDHC card slot. You can preview the recorded video on its 2-inch LCD display. Measuring 65mm x 105mm x 23mm and weighing at 85grams, the Medion S47000 also has USB and HDMI connections, so you can playback content on your PC or HDTV. Second Generation of Creative Vado HD Pocket Camcorder

Creative has announced the availability of the second generation Vado HD pocket camcorder. The gadget comes with new Vado Central for Mac OS X that offers video transferring and direct to iMovie importing of Vado videos. The new Vado Central will be available for download in early September and is compatible with all previous Vado and Vado HD models. The new Vado HDs are available in 4GB and 8GB models, which holds up to 60 minutes of video and up to 120 minutes of video, respectively. Exemode will release the Yashica DV-535HD low-priced camcorder on September 11th, 2009 in Japan for just 25,000 Yen ($263). The video recorder can record 1080p 30fps HD video and features a 5x optical zoom, a 5MP CMOS sensor, and a 3-inch touch-sensitive LCD screen. Canon USA has released their new VIXIA HF S11 Dual Flash Memory camcorder that features a Genuine Canon HD Video Lens, Canon designed and manufactured 8.59-megapixel Full HD CMOS Image Sensor and Canon DIGIC DV III Image Processor, all of which allow the video recorder to produce breathtaking video and stunning 8.0MP photos. It also features Genuine Canon Face Detection, Instant AutoFocus, and the ability to record in 24p Cinema Mode or 30p Progressive Mode.
