
D-Link today released two new network webcams for the mass market which is known as the D-Link Network Camera DCS-1100 and the DCS-1130. These cameras can be accessed from any browser by going to the D-Link mydlink.com portal via WiFi connectivity. They can also be used to stream live video to cellphones, with sound from the integrated microphone and remote control of 16x digital zoom and motion detection. Kodak has launched a new camera from its EasyShare M-series. Available in Plum, Silver, Red and Black, the EasyShare M420 is a 10MP camera that provides a 4x optical zoom Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon wide-angle zoom lens (35 mm equivalent: 28–112 mm) with image stabilization and blur reduction. JVC is the first manufacturer in the world that introduced the 4K2K 60p camera that produces four times the resolution of Full HD (1,920 x 1,080). The 4K2K camera is able to provide 60 progressive frame live signal output and 8.29MP 4K2K (3,840 horizontal x 2,160 vertical), ultra-high-resolution images. The camera is also supported by a high-resolution Super Hi-Vision (SHV) D-ILA projector that can project video at 33-megapixels with 10,000 lumens of brightness and a staggering 5,500:1 contrast ratio. Scientists at the University of California, Los Angeles have developed a camera that uses STEAM technology, which is capable of taking images every 163 nanoseconds. Using this world’s fastest camera, you will no longer need the CMOS and CCD technologies because it incorporates the new Serial Time-Encoded Amplified Microscopy (STEAM) technology that works by shining an infrared laser on the object or person you want to photograph. Sea&Sea Japan comes back with a new underwater camera bundle known as the DX-2G. The camera’s design and specification are similar with the Ricoh GX200, so we can say this camera as the Ricoh GX200 clone.
