
CASIO is set to launch Exilim Zoom EX-Z85 this late August in Japan mainly for female audience. These high performing models with 9.1 million effective pixels take high definition photographs. The Auto Shutter function on the EX-Z85 shoots automatically when the subject smiles or the instant that hand shake or subject movement stops, even without the need to push the shutter button – ensuring no blurred pictures are taken. The EX-Z85 also uses the H.264 video format with high compression that produces high quality video in a relatively small file sizes. Finally EX-Z85 features automatic face recognition or face detection functions. EX-Z85 comes with stylish design and a compact size. Casio has revealed a line of new compact cameras today. Three of the new four models, EX-Z19,EX-Z85, EX-Z250 all offer 9.1 Megapixel capture resolution, while the last, Ex-Z300 offers 10 Megapixel. The Ex-Z300 features make-up mode, removing the blemishes on faces, and it also comes in three colours; black, silver and gold. All new EXILIM models have a video option, which lets users record H.264 movies at the touch of a button. Strongly identified by its speed, EX-F1 bursts at ultra high speed up to 60 FPS. Equipped with external microphone, it is also capable of recording true high definition 1920 x 1080 video. The Casio EX-F1 has received the latest firmware update. The firmware 1.10 adds the new “Prerecord Movie” function that allows video capture of 5 seconds before the photographer actually presses the button.
