
Olympus today announced the μ780 an all-weather camera with a 7.1MP sensor. The digicam sports video in VGA at 30fps, ISO1600 (with a mode at 2500), a 5x optical zoom, 15MB of internal memory, and a 2.5 Inch TFT screen. Pricing is still unknown. More pics after the break!

Sanyo has rolled out the Xacti 2.0 digicam or DMX-CG65, which supports for H.264 format and features 18MB of internal memory. The DMX-CG65 also sports SDHC cards up to 8GB and comes equipped with a brand new image processing engine. Other features include 6MP CCD sensor, 5X optical zoom, 2.5 inch screen and VGA recording at 30 FPS (3 MBps).
Its battery has 70 minutes of video recording and 200 minutes of playback time (155 snaps). The good news is that this device can also be charged via USB. It will be available in silver, black and the bright green. Measuring 67.7mm × 34.5mm × 100.3mm and weighing 170grams, the Sanyo Xacti 2.0 will be available by late April in Japan for $425.

The 6MP Cyber-shot DSC-G1 digital camera is Sony’s first digital camera with the ability to send photos wirelessly to other Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-enabled PC or digicam. The G1 packs with a 3.5-inch LCD screen with resolution of 921,000 pixels, a Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom lens, 2GB of internal memory which can store up to 7,500 VGA-quality photos or 600 6MP pictures. The camera’s storage capacity can be expanded with an optional Memory Stick Duo media card or Memory Stick PRO Duo card. It also integrates built-in technologies to minimize image blur, including Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization and has high light sensitivity up to ISO 1000. Measuring 93.3mm x 71.7mm x 25.3mm and weighing 204grams, the Cyber-shot DSC-G1 camera will be available in April 2007 for around $600.

HP’s Photosmart R837 digital camera comes equipped with a 3 Inch display with an extra wide viewing angle of 170 degrees, a 7.MP sensor with 3x optical zoom, 32MB of internal memory in case your SD card runs out of space, and VGA-quality video recording among others. What makes the R837 different is hat it has in-camera red-eye removal feature and an anti-shake mechanism. The HP Photosmart R837 is on sale for around $300. The Mju 780 a.k.a. Stylus 780 is a 7.1MP digicam with a 5x optical zoom (equivalent to 36-180mm on a 35mm camera) and ratio of:- 1:3.3-5.0. It features an ISO 1600, CCD-shift stabilization and “Shadow Adjustment Technology”. Available in a cool silver or black metal body, the Mju 780 is also weatherproofed.
Other specs include a 6.4cm/2.5 Inch HyperCrystal LCD with 230,000 pixels, the BrightCapture Technology for taking clear pictures in the dark, 20 scene modes (including Portrait, Sports, Night Scene), and has an internal memory plus xD-Picture Card slot. The Olympus Mju 780 will be out late next month. Pricing is still unknown.
