  • Decreases the intermittent camera freeze under certain conditions.
  • The accuracy of the Auto White Balance has been improved.

Fujifilm Real 3D W1 Camera Released In North America

Fujifilm today announced the availability of its Real 3D W1 camera in North America. As a reminder, the camera combines two CCD sensors and Fujinon lenses to create a single symmetrical image. The company also released a special stereoscopic LCD photo frame in the form of the Fujifilm Real 3D V1. This 3D viewer has an 8-inch LCD screen that allows you to display and playback 3D images without wearing 3D glasses. The FinePix Real 3D W1 is priced at around $600. Watch the video after the jump. Word has it that Nikon D3s with 1080p video will be released on October 15th, 2009. The crew at NikonRumors puts it at “99 percent probability.” The Nikon D3s is expected to add 1080p video and an 14fps burst mode and a 1.6x crop mode. Stay tuned for more updates. [Engadget]

Samsung just announced its latest quarter-inch optical format, 5-megapixel system-on-chip (SoC) image sensor, which brings digital still camera functionality to high-end mobile phones. The SoC is capable of processing 1080p resolution images at 30 fps and supports high quality video capture on advanced mobile phones.
