
Olympus Korea will release its new E-3 10MP DSLR camera and its new DSLR lenses in the Korean market. The camera will be released in Japan in November for around $1,750. It comes jam packed with a 10.1M Live MOS sensor along with Olympus’ TruePic III digital processing engine. The E-3 Digital SLR also sports 5 frames-per-second continuous shooting, 1/8000 second top shutter speed, and a dual-axis swivel 2.5-inch Live View LCD covering all the viewing angles from low to high and side to side. There is no info on pricing so far.

Good news for you. The Olympus E-3 DSLR is now official! The camera offers 10MP sensor, 2.5-inch 230k pixel live view display, “World’s fastest autofocus” with 11-point biaxial AF system, Image stabilization, and shoots up to ISO 3200. The E-3 is priced at $1,700.

Sony’s new DSLR, the α700, features a magnesium alloy body, HDMI output, 3 Inch Extra Fine LCD, AF 11 points, a 5Fps setting (BIONZ Technology) and Dual Memory Slot (CF and Memory Stick). Olympus has recently announced the official specs about the successor to their E-1 digital SLR. The successor is called the E-P1 and rumored to be also known as the E-3. This new digital SLR will be released on October 17th. It will be featured 10MP sensor, Liveview, and in-body image stabilization, full metal body, weatherproof, etc.
