Fujifilm has announced the launch of the new FinePix F60fd. As a sequel to the hugely popular FinePix F50fd, the FinePix F60fd features a larger 3 .0 ” LCD screen, Face Detection 3.0 and brand new, proprietary, Scene Recognition technology. F60fd also uses Dual Image Stabilisation combining high ISO and CCD-shift stabilisation for a complete system for avoiding blur caused by hand shake or subject motion. Its Scene Recognition technology cleverly detects a scene without the need of pre-selecting the mode on the camera. The FinePix F60fd will begin shipping in September 2008 at a retail price of $299.95. [DCresource]
