Pentax K-7 Firmware Update Version 1.02

Pentax today launched the firmware version 1.02 for the K-7 DSLR. The new update provides several improvements including:

  • Added [Fine Sharpness 2] which makes image outlines sharper than [Fine Sharpness] on the Sharpness settings.
  • Improved processing performance at the particular shooting condition or setting such as preview image quality at Water Color & Pastel of Digital Filter mode.
  • Improved stability for general performance such as with Battery Grip D-BG4, the rear e-dial may become unstable in particular shooting condition.

Canon Releases Firmware Update For EOS Rebel XS/1000D

Canon has released a new firmware update version 1.0.6 for its EOS Rebel XS/1000D DSLR camera. The update “fixes a problem in which the LCD monitor does not display, the shutter does not release, and the busy indication remains lit in the viewfinder. Olympus today launched the first firmware update for the Olympus PEN E-P1 digital SLR camera. This update improves the operation when using C-AF (continuous AF).
