Fujifilm is gearing up to launch the FinePix S200EXR for the Japanese market starting on September 5. Touted as the successor to the award winning FinePix S100FS, the S200EXR is a new super-zoom digital camera with a 14.3x (30.5-436mm) manual zoom lens, a 12MP Super CCD EXR sensor, a 2.7-inch high contrast LCD with 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles, Super Intelligent Flash, an improved battery life – almost a 50% increase on the FinePix S100FS and the capability to record video in VGA quality (640 x 480) at 30fps. Fujifilm Korea is out with a new digital camera that boasts a panorama shooting mode. Dubbed as the FinePix J27, this particular camera is capable of capturing and combining up to 3 consecutive shots all in one single panoramic picture and save them into a memory card. Other cool specs include a 10.2-megapixel image sensor, 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, ISO up to 3200, anti-blur mode (picture stabilization), 6 scene SR AUTO (Scene Recognition Auto) and Face Detection. Fujifilm today announced its brand new compact digicam. Known as the FinePix J30, the 12MP shooter comes equipped with a new Panoramic shooting mode, a 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, Picture Stabilization mode, Face Detection technology with auto red-eye removal, maximum ISO sensitivity to 3200 (at 3MP), and a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a charger. The camera is currently available three different colors including pink, silver or black. The new Fujifilm FinePix J30 will be available later in August 2009 for a yet undisclosed price. Fujifilm has launched the Firmware v1.10 for the FinePix F200EXR digital compact camera. The update improves the performance of the camera’s Super Intelligent Flash and supports Finnish, Norwegian, Danish and Slovak languages for On Screen Display. For successful updating, always use the fully-charged NP-50 battery or the AC adapter while updating the firmware.
