Misumi claim that their new spy camera is the smallest camera ever. The company have been making spy-cameras for years, and now they come out with the Snake Camera. Measuring at just 4.4mm in diameter and 15mm in length, the digicam is able to record 320×240 pixel QVGA video in color and includes an LED light for filming in dark places.
The Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III is finally officia. The camera comes with its dual Digic III processors and ultra-low noise full-frame 21.1MP CMOS sensor. In addition, it can capture 5 images per second up to 56 JPEGs or 12 RAWs. Read the full official specs here. Canon’s EOS-1Ds Mark III is priced at $7,999 when it gets released in November.
Vivitar will release its ViviCam 6200w in the IFA 2007. It is a 6.0MP water resistant camera that has a 2.0“ color TFT-LCD screen with an integrated zoom up to 4X. The camera uses a focus free lens of 6.95mm, F3.3 with a focus range of 60cm~100cm(Macro), 100cm~infinty (Normal) on land and 45cm~75cm(Macro), 75~infinty(Normal) underwater. This water proof camera can resist water up to 30 ft and supports a resolution up to 2816 x 2112 pixels. In addition, the camera also provides a 16MB flash memory for storage and supports SD cards up to 2 GB.
Canon released the new IXUS 850 IS 7.1MP camera with a 3.8x optical zoom lens and 2.5 inch LCD screen for viewing of pictures. The camera is designed with some sort of clear lacquer finishes which resists scratches which makes the camera look new for a longer time. Measuring 89.5mm x 58.0mm x 25.1mm, this camera is equipped with large controls which are easy to function and visibly labeled. The company also has included optical image stabilization to assist in lesser illumination situations or at longer focal lengths when the user doesn’t want the flash to fire. Hitachi is claiming that its latest Blu-ray camcorders will be on sale by the end of the year. The company has developed an 8-cm Blu-ray DVD drive with 7GB capacity and 5.3MP CMOS sensor. Stay tuned for more updates.
Hitachi’s latest hybrid DVD+HDD camcorder, the DZ-HS500E, comes jam packed with 30x optical and 1500x digital zoom. The device combines the high capacity of a 30GB Hard disc with the convenience of a multiform at +DVD burner. This camcorder is supported by one touch button to burn movies from HDD to DVD and features 2 channels Dolby Digital acoustic recording. The DZ-HS500E also has a 2.7 inch TFT LCD screen.
