Not only the DMC-LS85, Panasonic also launches some series of the brand new LUMIX FS-series. The DMC-FS15 will come with 12.1-megapixel and 5x optical zoom while The DMC-FS7 will be equipped with 10.1-megapixel and 4x optical zoom. Both oh them have a 29mm wide-angle lens, Panasonic’s Venus Engine IV image processor, intelligent ISO, face detection, and can record for 30fps 16:9 WVGA (848 x 480). The DMC-FS15 will be available in silver, black and blue for $199.95 and the DMC-FS7 will be available in silver, black, blue, pink and green for of $159.95 by the end of March. [Slashgear]

Panasonic Korea launched has launched DMC-FX180 to its LUMIX lineup. FX180 features a 1/1.72-inch CCD with ultra-high, 14.7-megapixel resolution 3.6x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens making it one of the highest resolution point-and-shoots in the market. Advance users also get to manually set aperture and shutter-speed for particular shots. The shooter has 50MB of internal memory, and ofcourse, is extensible with an SD or SDHC card. As for the exterior look, FX180 share similar design with the rest of FX models. Its subtle design clearly hides the functions underneath. No details on availability and price, but it should be in the range of $450. [Panasonic]

Panasonic has released its first digital camera with touchscreen display. The LUMIX DMC-FX500 features a 3 inch touch-screen display, a 25mm ultra-wide angle Leica DC lens, 5x optical zoom and 10.1MP sensor. Panasonic has announced that they will be releasing a new 10.1-megapixel lumix digital camera known as the DMC-LZ10 in Japan. The DMC-LZ10 comes with a 5X zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD monitor with 848 x 480 resolution, and can take five photos continuously per a second and records video at 30 frames per second, and MEGA O.I.S(Optical Image Stabilizer). $327

Panasonic finally has all the exciting specs that you’ve been waiting for. The LS80 features as 8.1-megapixel resolution, 4 x zoom, “MEGA O.I.S.” image stabilization, ISO up to 1600, SDHC card support, and 16:9 recording modes. To top that all off, it comes in pink, silver, and black. Although there’s no pricing or availability info handy, it shouldn’t be long so hang in there tight kids.
