Blue and Red Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 in Japan

The blue and red Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 is now available in the Japanese market. In case you didn’t know, this camera is the world’s first digital camera that records motion image in AVCHD Lite. The AVCHD Lite realizes long time recording of high-definition motion image. Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-45mm Lens Firmware Update

The firmware update for the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-45mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S. (H-FS014045) lens is now available for download. The new update improves the auto focus performance in AFc mode for taking photos and enhances performance of auto focusing and stability of O.I.S. Panasonic HDC-TM350 and TM30 Camcorders

The Panasonic HDC-TM350 and TM30 come with a 64GB and 32GB HDD, respectively. The Panasonic TM30 has a 1/6-inch CMOS sensor (2.1MP), a 16x zoom and 2ch sound support, meanwhile the Panasonic TM350 features a 1/4.1-inch CMOS sensor (10.6MP), a 12x zoom and 5.1ch sound support. Both camcorders also feature a 2.7-inch LCD screen and USB/SDHC card/HDMI interfaces. Weighing at 227grams, the Panasonic TM30 is the lightest camcorder of its kind in the industry. Panasonic's Lightest Full-HD Camcorders

Panasonic’s new HDC-SD10 and the HDC-TM10 are touted as the world’s lightest Full High Definition camcorders. Weighing at only 227grams, these video recorders are able to capture 1920 x 1080 HD picture and supports a 16x optical zoom, an intelligent contrast control, Advanced Optical Image Stabiliser, and Face Detection Technology. There is also an intelligent scene selector, which claims to determine the shooting conditions and automatically selects the scene setting that will provide optimal results. Panasonic Announces Official Lumix DMC-GH1 Pricing

Panasonic has finally announced pricing for their Lumix DMC-GH1 digital camera. This highly anticipated Micro Four Thirds shooter comes with a suggested retail price of $1,499.95 and will be available in early June. The kit includes the Lumix G Vario 14-140mm f/4.0-5.8 lens, designed to support HD movie recording including a silent motor and continuos auto focusing (AF). Panasonic Launches Three Firmware Updates

Panasonic just released three new firmware updates for DMC-FT1 / TS1, DMC-TZ6 / ZS1, and DMC-TZ7/ ZS3. The firmware version 1.1 for the FT1 / TS1 supports playback for AVCHD motion picture format (1280×720) and improves quality of viewing still images. Meanwhile, the firmware update for the TZ6 / ZS1 incorporates a reduction of noise of auto focusing (Quick AF) during action and improves the quality of viewing still images. The update for the TZ7 / ZS3 allows playback for AVCHD motion picture format (1280×720) and a reduction of noise of auto focusing. [dcviews]
